The Abandonment of Elmaer: The whole story

Hi guys, and welcome to another edition of the this blog. Here I am going to explain the abandonment of Elmaer, Why it was abandoned, and why I are going to need it back over the Summer of this year.

Since the time we was driven out of Glinda precisely 2 years ago today, I have received a ton of criticism from rl family about the kind of cash we put into SL tier. What they called as "worthless", is actually the reasoning behind all the abandonment. Working to keep tier at a certain level, and also working on Tyrell Mono, the "secret weapon" we have in the adult continent of Zindra.

From the point when we have come down to just an 8th sim of Elmaer left, today I have realized something. Now we are getting much more support than we have ever gotten in SL, and with the new support and sponsorship that we are receiving, we just may be able to pull off getting Elmaer back.

Also, we are getting some attention from the real world in here, so this may be extremely important as we work towards our goals in SL. Our local art association is now paying attention as to what is happening here in SL, and can end up recruiting artists for it's gallery in rl. later this summer, I could be next on the list.

In mid June, we hope to make a huge scale statement about getting people here into SL, to really see what we do here. It's not enough just to view pictures, etc, to really experience this place. It needs to be experienced first hand.

The reclaiming of Elmaer may take all summer to do. We may have to go through the auctioning process to bring it all back in. but we will continue in Glinda until the time is right. We will begin this process on June 10th, when our current tier has passed and it is safe to "tier up" to a full sim again. hopefully one day, as we work to get the Art Association more involved, that family will begin to see Second Life as a tool, and not as a "worthless computer program".

may peace be with all of you as we strive to achieve the goal, and not get discouraged by the real world. Signing out. :-)
